WHAT IS STORIES FOR THE SILVER TREE
"Over the mountains and under the sky, Searching for story and song..."
Bran is searching. Sometimes alone, and sometimes with others, but always with a longing for a place, a people, and an elusive tree. While Bran searches, she finds herself stumbling into old stories and songs, encountering the landscape of an ancient, yet familiar, past.
Musician and performer Darius Nash and storyteller Tamar Eluned Williams blend rhythm, soundscape, spoken word, song and poetry to produce a show that bends the rules of performance storytelling, while simultaneously asking us to explore the choices that we make as we grow and learn, and the people who are really important to us.
